Dr. Jorge Suárez-Menéndez has given numerous lectures all over the world and has made numerous appearances on TV and radio shows, both nationally and internationally. Additionally, he has been written about and quoted in many magazines and newspapers. He has also received many international honors and awards of recognition for his continued service in the field of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the National Registry of "Who's Who Among Professionals", as well. Dr. Jorge Suárez-Menéndez knows that plastic surgery alone will not improve the skin's dehydrated lines, tone or elasticity. Therefore, in his quest for perfection and the skin's youthful glow, he has created the MeSuá Dermasystem Anti-Aging Skin Care product line.
Dr. Terry has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals, book chapters, and abstracts on brain regulation of hormonal rhythms and secretion, with an emphasis on growth hormone regulation. In addition, he has focused his other clinical activities on memory retention and enhancement with aging. In the past seven years, he has been actively involved in the establishment of anti-aging centers and facilities wherein he has established evaluation and treatment protocols for memory and endocrine aspects of aging in several clinics and centers throughout the US. He has evaluated over 2000 patients nationally and internationally, in regard to anti-aging. Dr. Terry has been invited to speak at several meetings and symposia on the topic of hormonal replacement and anti-aging. He is very active in the anti-aging field, with an emphasis on internal (diet, exercise, nutritional supplementation, and appropriate hormonal supplementation) and external augmentations (cosmeceuticals and cosmetic surgery) to feel good and look good. Dr. Bowes specializes in laser skin resurfacing and chemical peels for the removal of facial wrinkles and scars; Botox®, collagen and fat injections for the improvement of wrinkles; liposuctions and liposculpture; sclerotherapy of leg veins and the use of lasers for multiple skin conditions. Dr. Bowes also emphasizes in her practice the importance of preventing sun-induced damage to the skin (wrinkles, sun spots, skin cancer). Dr. Bowes is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has received fellow status in the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Bowes has authored articles for medical journals and presented the findings of her research activities at national and international meetings.
CONSULTANTS Dr. Mandy has performed liposuction, dermabrasion, and other cosmetic surgery for the University of Miami Cosmetic Center since it first opened in November 1997. He shares his time between his practice in Aspen, Colorado and in Miami, Florida at the UMCC. Dr. Mandy is reknowned for his research on the beneficial effects of Retin A on wound healing performed in the 1970's. He is also regarded as a leader in the training of dermatologists in liposuction, and formerly held the prestigious position of President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
